About The Event
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ACE Engineering College, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad, organized Project Expo-2024 on 10th May 2024. The event aimed to provide students a platform to showcase their innovative projects, focusing on industry demands and demonstrating their learning experiences. The event was inaugurated by Guest of Honor Dr. P. Satish Kumar, Professor & HOD – ECE, along with Dr. S. Mani Kuchibhatla, Convenor & HOD – EEE. The book of student project abstracts was also released by the guest. A total of 19 final-year projects were exhibited, generating enthusiasm among students from all branches. The event saw excellent participation, with third and second-year students showing great interest. A team of judges awarded prizes to the best projects. The awarded projects included:
- First Prize: “Development of Automatic Shopping Trolley in Supermarkets”
- Second Prize: “IoT Enhanced Solar Marine Debris Collector”
- Third Prize: “Designing of the Self-Acting Stamper using PLC”
- Fourth Prize: “Smart Headlight Control for Collision Avoidance”
Four consolation prizes were awarded to other notable projects, including topics like remote sensing in street park construction, public distribution automation, battery management for electric vehicles, and data acquisition for industrial power grids.
