Green Campus
Our campus is a place where innovation meets sustainability, set within a lush green environment adorned with over 1200 thriving trees. Nestled within this verdant sanctuary, our commitment to environmental stewardship is evident in every aspect of campus life. From state-of-the-art academic facilities to tranquil study spots under canopies of mature trees, every corner of our campus fosters a harmonious blend of learning and nature. Join us in cultivating a future where education thrives in harmony with the environment, making our institution a beacon of green innovation in higher education.
Solar Power Generation
Our Solar Power Generation Section embodies our commitment to campus sustainability and renewable energy. With an existing capacity of 114 KVA and on track to increase to 225 KVA, this section harnesses the sun’s power to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. Strategically integrated into our campus, it supplies clean, renewable energy to our facilities and serves as a living laboratory for students and faculty. By promoting hands-on learning and research in solar technology, we drive innovation and foster a sustainable future.
Rain water Harvesting Pits
Our commitment to sustainability is exemplified by our advanced rainwater harvesting system, designed to make the most of natural resources. The centerpiece of this system is a large triangular harvesting pit with dimensions of 109.10 feet in length, 30.03 feet in width, and a depth of 10 feet 3 inches. This impressive structure has the capacity to reserve up to 940,000 liters of rainwater. Strategically integrated into our campus infrastructure, this harvesting pit not only helps in conserving water but also reduces our reliance on external water sources, promoting a self-sustaining environment. By capturing and storing rainwater efficiently, we are taking significant steps towards a sustainable and environmentally responsible campus.
Sewage Treatment Facility
Our state-of-the-art sewage treatment facility underscores our commitment to environmental sustainability and campus hygiene. Designed to process up to 5000 liters per hour and 100,000 liters per day, this facility ensures that all wastewater is treated efficiently and responsibly. Utilizing advanced filtration and purification technologies, the treated water is safe for reuse in landscaping and other non-potable applications, significantly reducing our water consumption and environmental impact. This facility not only supports our green campus initiatives but also serves as a practical learning resource for students studying environmental sciences and engineering.
