About Professional Clubs
A club is a formal, recognized organization within a college or university that provides a structured environment for students to pursue and develop their interests, skills, and hobbies over a long-term period. Clubs, which often evolve from successful SIGs, foster community and belonging, making every member feel valued and welcomed. Clubs may receive up to ₹20,000 in initial funding from the college.
Example:
A coding club might host coding boot camps, hackathons, project collaborations, and regular coding practice sessions, with opportunities for members to participate in more significant competitions.
